floorwise were pleased to be invited to support the Open Day at CP Assessments in Doncaster which was also used to raise funds for Andy’s Man Club – a men’s suicide prevention charity offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. They were set up following the suicide of a young man and want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. #ITSOKAYTOTALK
floorwise used the opportunity to showcase their range of market leading flooring and installation products – and gave away three vouchers to use in floorwise depots to the value of £300, £150 and £50 for raffle prizes.
Andrew Gill, group product manager at floorwise commented that ‘We are all delighted to support CP Assessments with their Open Day and to help raise funds for such an amazing charity as Andy’s Man Club. Suicide is the biggest killer amongst young men and it’s great that there is an organisation dedicated helping reduce that toll. We were also really touched by the generosity of one of the winers who asked that his prize be donated direct to Andy’s Man Club which we were delighted to do. We all know that the flooring industry is a brilliant industry and often hear said that it is still a very personal one – this gesture really illustrated this point.’
